Empty registry keys keep on adding to the size of registry causing it to bloat unnecessarily. These empty keys are added to your system’s registry when you uninstall different applications and software. Normally the tools used to remove unwanted keys from the registry delete unwanted value but not the entire key. You can call these empty registry keys as registry holes. Though they do directly harm your computer, but over time, they augment the size of the registry. Besides, the size of registry also increases due to accumulation of redundant data and wrong files associations. This growth may soon become unmanageable causing critical damage to your computer by corrupting registry files.
